What exactly is the "Web Integration Tool"??
Does this break say external "Management" Such as the "Asterisk Manager Interface". Please explain.....
Every new release Askozia is raising License fee's. I understand need to make money, but there are other ways to go about it. As a reseller (USA), the monthly pricing for leased license is absurd, no way one can make money off that if say hosting managed phone services.. Have to have a set minimum extension just to break even on license fee. Otherwise, easier to have license paid in full one time purchase.
The UC-Client is absolutely terrible.. Sorry Askozia. As a reseller partner I just cannot. Will only work with Windows 10 (when released). And only works with OSX Sierra.
Majority of Businesses are still on windows 7... That is a huge mistake, and oversight.
Oh - lets not forget - there is still NO way to copy an already configured extension to another new SIP extension. This would make life so much easier when pushing out BLF keys. Otherwise, I rely on manually created "Advanced Configuration" lines....
Would of been better off to take the already half way decent CTI Web client and port to a desktop application. Pain in the *** to have clients open web interface to launch the CTI. Just needed few more features added.
The need to go to full "Unified Communications" is where market is going. Majority of my clients do not just want a DESK phone, they want Softphone + Desk phone and they to work in harmony -- similarly as to how CTI worked. But lacked the instant messaging aspect and presence
