Nested queues/groups etc.
« on: August 15, 2016, 08:19:43 AM »
Hi,

our company has two sites, each one getting a new askozia, interconnected by AIX.

Now we have the following set up in our company:

We have supporters on each site, two levels each. And we want to accomplish the following: When somebody calls a common support number (terminated at site 1), the phones of all lvl 1 supporters on both sites should be ringing. After 10s the phones of all lvl2 supporters on both sites should be ringing.

I set up call groups for each levels on both sites:

4010  Site 1 Support 1
4020  Site 1 Support 2
4110  Site 2 Support 1
4120  Site 2 Support 2

And I set up these groups on the other PBX as external phones, so that you can dial 4110 on Site 1 and reach Support 1 on Site 2.

Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Dirk

Hello Dirk,

is this how you would do it or did you try it this way?
What is not working?

We can help you the best possible way if you write to askozia@cubewerk.de
We talk German as well.

Best regards

Hi, thanks for the reply.

Actually I don't really care HOW to acomplish it. I would have preferred to just create a Queue and add Dial Groups to it. Unfortunately this is not recommended, the docs simply say that it can be acomplished by nested queues but not how to do it ...

Best regards,
Dirk
