Manual Dialplan Outgoing for CAllgroups
« on: October 18, 2014, 01:06:06 PM »
Hi All

We wrote a neat little app, that displays the incoming phone number on OS X:
https://code.google.com/p/asteriskcallnotification/

For accounts we can add a simple line of code in Advanced Options -> Manual Dialplan Incoming
Code: [Select]
System(/storage/usbdisk1/allink/notification.php mikewalder ${CALLERID(num)} ${EXTEN:-2})
For Groups there is no such option.
I see that I could add the line manually in /etc/asterisk/extensions.conf
However this option would hardly be future proof.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to add this line via the GUI?

Hello,

unfortunately, I don't have a solution for the GUI problem, but I would be interested in using the OS X/growl call notification feature you mention. I tried to find documentation on this, but what I read on http://www.mezzo.net didn't make sense to me. Nowhere did I see any reference to a "notification.php" script, instead the readme included with the 2.1 version zip download tells me to incorporate a .c file into the asterisk source tree. Somehow this doesn't correspond to your solution of adding "a simple line of code" to the diaplan options.

Could you explain what I am missing? I was able to download and install the AsteriskNotificationClient.app, but I have no idea where to find and how to install the associated /allink/notification.php script, and also what to put instead of "mikewalder". To which account does this refer?
