Setting Static IP
« on: October 26, 2013, 04:45:05 PM »
I have a dedicated server that I'm setting Askozia on using Virtual Box. Somewhere on the network there is a rogue DHCP server handing out IP's. I need to add an static IP's anyway. From the Askozia console screen I enter 2 and it ask me for the IP. I enter what I want and the prompt for the subnet mask just flies by with know chance of entering anything.

I checked your issue on one of our test machines. Everything is fine and working well here. Could you please tell me what you entered in the menu?

Please note, that you have to enter the CIDR code (24, 16, 8...), not the subnet mask itself.

Have a nice day and a great weekend!

Markus ;)
