SSL Certificate Configuration for WebConfig
« on: October 15, 2012, 06:47:57 PM »
Is there a supported way to change the certificate of the Web GUI?
I can switch to HTTPS and everything works but Askozia uses a self signed Certificate that I don't want.

Can someone please help me get the certificate (inclusive Certificatin Chain) to Askozia?

Hi,

You could replace the certificate directly in the XML config file. -> Backup, exchange certificate in XML, restore.

Thanks for the Idea.
I had something in this direction in my head from old m0n0wall instalations (I must confess I had the last ~3 years no m0n0wall or m0n0wall-based System running)

But: in my config are only ssh keys (ssh-rsa-key and ssh-dsa-key but those are not what i'm looking for) and no ssl Certificate(-chain) and private Key

Code: [Select]
...
<webgui>
   <protocol>https</protocol>
   <port/>
   <language>en_US</language>
</webgui>
<ssh-rsa-key>...</ssh-rsa-key>
<ssh-dss-key>...</ssh-dss-key>
...

I agree. There is no element to set the SSL certificate in the XML just the SSH keys.

Is there a way to set an issued SSL certificate for the webGUI?
