Voice mail to E-mail presentation
« on: October 09, 2012, 04:29:55 AM »
I would like to use the following Asterisk variables in custom voice mail to email text:

VM_CIDNAME
VM_CIDNUM

Which config file(s) would I need to modify in order to use these variables?  VM_CALLERID does not work for our application.

These variables only work in combination with voicemail - > voicemail.conf

Alternatively, you could use the following variables globally:

${CALLERID(name)}
${CALLERID(num)}

Hi Sebastian,

This doesn't seem to work for me.  No data populates for either ${CALLERID(name)} or ${CALLERID(num)} when I use the following Body.  Is there something wrong with my syntax?

VM_DATE.  You have received a new message from ${CALLERID(name)} ${CALLERID(num)}.  The message length is VM_DURATION seconds.

Thanks!

Jim

I have Askozia 2.2.5 and i can set a customized E-Mail body with the variables. Maybe try to update :)
