SNMP Support
« on: February 09, 2011, 11:23:47 AM »
Hello,

First of all, I know that there are allready 2 old topics asking for support. But I didn't know the forum rules about bumping old topics, so that is why I've created this new one.

Anyone knows if SNMP support is going to be included in future versions?

Hi All,

i think its time to have snmp to monitor the Askozia otherwise we could not sell it as a professional products .

Some of the feature user may need , could i ask for a poll ?

cpu load usage
bandwidth (per interface, maybe per trunk)
active channels
interface (ethernet, isdn and analog ports status)
peer status
failed calls, failed registration
temperature

For us the priority are isdn status and peer status .

Thanks

We have SNMP on our list.  :)

It will come asap but not already with 2.2 in a few weeks.

I have Askozia running and sometimes my Provider connection is stale. I can solve this problem by resetting the firewall state on the switch. I use Icinga for monitoring and I would prefer to Phones and Providers in SNMP for easily monitor them.

Darko

Hi Sebastian,

I know the thread is a bit older, but is there any news on this?

I'ld prefer to monitor my client's Askozia boxes with Zabbix SNMP functionality...

Hi there,

we're also interested in SNMP Monitoring. At the Moment we Monitor our PBX with Shell Access.
Also I wrote some scripts to monitor some asterisk variables, such as the Count of Queuemember or the busystate of them.
Versions using:
3.4
4.1.x
5.x
Phones using:
Tiptel 31xx, Snom 7xx/3xx, Yealink SIP T4x

I'd like SNMP in Askozia too !

For monitoring we receive Askozia's syslog in our Kiwi Syslogserver,
Kiwi sends urgent messages to Zabbix using the Zabbix Sender.

It would be nice to receive SNMP directly in Zabbix.

Why not using the zabbix client on askozia?

Thats what we do on our pbx systems.

Linux askoziapbx.local 3.17.8-dist #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Jun 1 12:36:57 CEST 2016 i686 GNU/Linux
/ $ ps aux | grep  zabbix
19670 zabbix     0:00 sh
19926 zabbix     0:00 ./sbin/zabbix_agentd -c ./conf/zabbix_agentd.conf
19927 zabbix     0:00 ./sbin/zabbix_agentd: collector [idle 1 sec]
19928 zabbix     0:00 ./sbin/zabbix_agentd: listener #1 [waiting for connection]
19929 zabbix     0:00 ./sbin/zabbix_agentd: listener #2 [waiting for connection]
19930 zabbix     0:00 ./sbin/zabbix_agentd: listener #3 [waiting for connection]
19931 zabbix     0:00 ./sbin/zabbix_agentd: active checks #1 [idle 1 sec]

/ $ netstat -tulpen
netstat: showing only processes with your user ID
Active Internet connections (only servers)

Why not using the zabbix client on askozia?

Hi cubewerk

If you could post short instructions, how I get zabbix running on askozia, would be very cool.

Thanks

Andy
