Hi, i'm from italy and i'm new in this forum.

I have installed new snapshot r1406 (in a virtualbox virtual machine) but sometimes when i reboot the system nothing is working.
Phones and Providers don't register. In logs i found a lot of these:

Mar 10 10:03:15 snomd: recvfrom returned
Mar 10 10:03:15 snomd: received something that was not a SUBSCRIBE message NOTIFY sip:192.168.7.102 SIP/2.0^M Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 192.168.7.252:5060;branch=z9hG4bK-cf88c9ba^M From: 102 ;tag=2f3b46f5a44b114bo0^M To:
Mar 10 10:03:15 asterisk[1232]: NOTICE[1256]: chan_sip.c:21934 in sip_poke_noanswer: Peer 'SIP-PROVIDER-16464613424b8ae62c32c1e' is now UNREACHABLE! Last qualify: 0

I can fix the problem with a pbx reboot (this solution not work everytime), or i can go in Connectivity -> Networking and click to Save (this solution work everytime). When i click the save button in networking, a message to pbx concole say: "e1000: eth0 NIC Linkis UP 1000 Mbps Full Duplex, Flow Control: RX"

In RC1 i never found this problem. Tell me if i can do more to help you.

Best Regards

Snomd needs to get a bit smarter...sorry. I did not get around to that for RC2 unfortunately.

For RC3 I will add some configuration options so you can choose to run it or not.

Good, however that service can be also stopped/not started where no mac addresses exists for snom phones.

I will try to automate it as much as possible. To be honest, I'd rather just fix the bug in snomd which causes this! Really need a sockets person to look at this code.
