Hi, I'm new to askozia and have successfully configured my ISDN appliance for incoming calls from ISDN line but I can't manage to have Askozia to use the right MSN for outgoing calls.
Your help will be greatly apreciated ?
Thanks in advance and BR. Mike

I know there were some recently fixed issues with Swiss ISDN providers. Let me check about that and I'll post again today when I know more.
Are you trying to set the same MSN for all calls or different MSNs depending on which phone is placing the call?

Thanks for your answer. I'm trying to set the same MSN for all calls going out of 1 provider.

Those issues were not related to Caller ID.
Did you try setting the outgoing Caller ID in the Provider's options? (see screenshot)

Yes It is configured as per screenshot but doesn't work this way. The outgoing calls use the default phone number and not the wanted MSN. There is 3 phone numbers provided by Swisscom. Each phone number has separate invoicing.(xxxxx10,xxxxx11,xxxxx14 ) The pbx takes the default phone number for outgoing calls (xxxxx10).

It's working now! I had to set the outgoing Caller ID with the phone number WITH REGIONAL CODE, WITHOUT "0" before. Thank you for your assistance, Michael. BR. Mike

Great!
Glad that's figured out. I think I should start gathering those little 'gotcha's for specific providers.

Hello,
sorry for hijacking this thread but i have a similar problem as supergus - the only difference is that i would like to use different MSNs depending on which SIP-phone is placing the call. Now every phone uses the main msn but i would like to have this changed.
Any suggestions?
Edit: Found in another forum that prilocaldialplan=local should be added to zapata.conf - still no clue how to do this manually but perhaps in a future version the option could be added in the webGUI Telephony Ports - ISDN Settings or somewere else.

Assign each msn to a phone, group, etc... Depending on your country/carrier isdn setup you may need to remove the first leading digit, i.e. if your MSN is 0912345678 enter 912345678 like in the attached screenshot.

Hi all,
I have same problem with incomming calls through ISDN I have two german "Anlagenanschluesse" my numers for this are 0401234567-60 to 89
I have set my phone number like 040123456760 as main number As long as I fill nothing into "incomming extension" everything works, but of course I like to route the incomming "60" to some SIP phones, "70" to others and so on but I'mnot able to find out what I have to fill into incomming eytension. I tried full number, number without leading zero, just the 60....
Would be very nice to receive a hint
Thanks,
Enno

Is your ISDN port also configured to use PTP mode instead of PTMP? That may be your problem.
We do not have such a line here for testing. Any feedback on how these connections work is greatly appreciated.
Let me know what's working and what's not. We'll make sure it's fixed in 2.1

Hi,
the ISDN Ports are both set to PTP. What are the "usual" settings for "main number" and "incomming extensions" if I want to route incoming -89 of my phone numbers to one sip phone? By the way, I use OpenVox B400P
Thanks!

Main number would be your "kopfnummer" but the incoming extension's I'm not sure about in your situation. I've used just the ending before 800, 801, 802, etc but never for a PTP connection.
I now have a PTP line setup here for testing tomorrow.
