Well, it seems as AskoziaPBX 2.0 r1326 does not recognize any of my 3 AVM Fritz Card (PCI 2.0) - any help on this or solution? Askozia 1.0.3 does work with them, but I like the 2.0 (especially DHCP Client and such, ssh internal, new Asterisk Version... etc..).
Could anybody provide me an "how-to-get-it-working"?
Thank you very much,
Yours sincerly,
Nico Maas

I need some more information about that hardware. Once I have it, I can fix the driver so it recognizes your cards as compatible.
The easiest way to do this is to submit a hardware report in the 2.0 GUI: - make sure your e-mail notifications are setup correctly - press 'ESC' anywhere in the GUI and the Integrator Panel will appear - click on the hardware tab - include your forum name and a link to this post in your report and then click submit
That report gives me a ton of technical info about your system. I can't promise when I will get to adding support since I have other paid jobs at the moment but it will be added.

Got the report. Hopefully it's a one-line change here...I'll post again once something's been changed.

I have to change the driver in about 3 places. It isn't a huge amount of work but I'm currently working on other projects which involve the DAHDI package. Without starting two branches of work, this becomes a lot of overhead. Once they have their driver finished and added in, I can start playing with DAHDI again.
This will be a couple weeks. I wish I could help everyone with compatibility issues but the paid jobs have to come first since this how I pay my bills!
I hope you understand and I'm really sorry I can't give you better news.

Hello Michael,
I did try something else during the time beeing. I tried for an VMWare enviroment (And the need for setting up an Asterisk Server within an Vmware Server 1.9) Askozia 1.0.3 and the 2.0 Version with an Fritz USB 2.0. Sadly I did not recieve postive results on any of both versions. Shall I send you another Report from the 2.0 Machine with the attached AMV USB 2.0 Card? May that help?
Greetings,
Nico Maas

I just wanted to ask about the status of the orginal problem / fix. Did you have time to fix it in the meantime?
Thank you very much,
Nico Maas

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your card will not be supported any time soon. I spent the day merging things in from those other projects but hadn't realized until now that your card is not HFC based. I know that sounds stupid but I'd simply seen "unsupported card" and put that on my to do list...
REALLY truly sorry for having led you along this far. Those cards will not be supported until their chipsets are supported by DAHDI. This is something that I will not be undertaking.
Very embarrassed that I missed this. The next version will support many new cards but not the AVM lines.

Hello Michael,
thats very bad News. What about the Askozia 1.x Branch? Anything to get the AVM Usb 2.0 Fritz Card working? I wanted to use this virtualized and the USB thing is the only card to get this working.
Thanks,
nico

Probably not either. The 1.0.x branch is stable and adding support for that card would require recompiling drivers.
