Hi, I've been looking a long time now to have a centralized Phonebook. I have found a very usefull script. It is a .php file only 2,6 Kb The tool is found at http://www.voip.com.sg/asterisk/voip_asterisk_outlook_dialer.htmlThe application installs a little add on feature in outlook. I'm trying at the moment from the source to add the originate.php file to askozia. Maybe the programmers can make a package to install this one file automatically. Please check this feature out. MAybe you can write the outlook add-on yourselfs. It doesn't realy do much except forwardwing some values to the originate.php and let the pbx make the call. Regards, Osa2

That looks like a really simple convenient solution. There's one problem I see at the moment. If a package is made of this, it must start another instance of the http(s) server which allows for unauthenticated access.
Having this become a package would be great.

Bad news: Michael it do not work if lan is not already configured, so from package view it's not possible to run another instance... Good news: Package outlook dialer version 0.1 Goto http://www.zrnet.it/askozia

Hello Roberto,
I have installed this package and the outlook plugin, configured it with SIP/my_extesion and the url of the asterisk dialer on the pbx.
The result, every time I press the Call button, my phone rings as if I were calling to myself :S. The call drops as soon as I answer the phone.
Tested with X-Lite and a Cisco 7960G.
BRegards.- LC

Any progress in this matter? It would be great feature to have it working. Did you manage to make a call with the outlookdialer?
PLease let me know. I will send a message to lantone If the problem can't get solved. Please keep us up to date on how this is evolving.
Best regards,
Osa2

I don't know if it is me. I'm getting:
Network error code 500: Internal error.
This as well with aastra as with grandstreams. SO I think it is related with the originate.php file
Is the path still
ip of askozia/ast/originate.php???
