Hello ,

I tried to update pb13.4 to pb14 with generic-pc image. The system is a GCT-Allwell STB3036 Set Top Box with NS Geode CS5530 chipset and a CF-Card reader connected to the secondary IDE-Master. The web-GUI update procedure was done successful, but every start results in a kernel panic message (unable to mount rootfs). After downgrade to pb13.4, all is fine again. :-( ?

The "log reverse sort order" option is missing in pb14.

pb13.4 worked but pb14 fails to find the rootfs? Is there any way you could post your "dmesg" output from pb13.4 or pb14?

For pb14 it is'nt possible to record the boot-messages. So, I wrote the last messages at the boot-sccreen by hand:

Could you also post your dmesg information here like the last reporter?

I seem to have overlooked a patch in the m0n0wall project which should resolve this (booting from Cyrix 5530 ATA controllers).

It's now been added and a test snapshot is available here:
