I'm getting an error converting to .po file to .mo

/ultmp/messages.po:1099:20: invalid control sequence
msgfmt: found 1 fatal error

What does this mean?

I would look in your messages.po file around line 1099 for any funny characters or inappropriate slashes. I had to fix this in the file that was submitted. If you've pulled it back in from subversion it should be taken care of.

I have just started working on Slovenian (sl_SI) translation. By the way I like Askoza and it's GUI.

Thanks for starting on that. Please make sure you are using the new sources at:

After checking out from that repository, the .po files are located in /packages/overlays/pbx/rootfs/usr/www/locale

I need to update this information and move it to the wush wiki.

The next release will be 2.0.0 actually. If you want to see the translations in action, the easiest way is to build your own image and test it. The development environment is very dependable and well tested (either setup your own host or use our ready-made VM).

I wish there were an easier way to test these things but right now this is what I can offer.

Hey, there actually *is* a simpler way :-)
To test my polish translations, I simply download them onto my AskoziaPBX:

mount -n -o remount,rw /offload/
wget http://www.viste-family.net/mateusz/Temp/AskoziaPBX-PL/messages.mo -O /offload/rootfs/usr/www/locale/pl_PL/LC_MESSAGES/messages.mo

Of course you can adapt this to use your own translations, without having to rebuild your own image ;-)

Hi

I have just finished updating the Danish language file.

Unless there has been any changes to the prompts I think the Danish prompts from the previous version could be used in Ver. 2.0?

I have the lastest files checked out from svn.

Best regards

Would you like commit access to submit that? Could you send it my way for now I can merge it?

I'll get the danish prompts back into the image if they are complete. There are so many languages that were incomplete and I didn't want to have to constantly work around that in the 2.0 series.

Commit access would be fine for me.

I will also check the prompts to se if they are ok.

I can commit my changes tommorrow.
