Does this only happen with SIP providers or also with menus?

Sebastian do you mean any other menus or a menus inside sip provider ?
For example isdn and iax provider menus are ok , just the sip provider its very very very slow .
All the others menu are allright.
There is another thing , the drag and drop icons for codecs for audio under iax and sip are note resized correctly and get
cutted on the left side so you cannot read them very well .

Hi, the reason is that Askozia is trying to download provider templates. Are you using a firewall which is blocking the access to the internet? Askozia downloads the templates only once. If you allow it once, it should load the provider settings a lot faster in the future.  |

No , i'm not using a firewall , and i've declared the askozia lan as intranet to trust it .
It happens not only when i create a new provider , but also when i'm editing an existing ones ,
still 6 minute waiting ....

Hi, If I delete the templates and don't give my system access to the internet, it takes about 10 seconds to the timeout (loading of the page and Askozia recognizing that there are no templates).This is not very close to 6minutes.  Can you check the DNS timeout of your DNS server? Thanks. |

Sebastian ,
we are using our DNS for hundreds of customer ....
I've tried on three Askozia , the sip provider windows took a reasonable amount on two installation , on the third and i dont understand why it will need 5/6 minute , but it never happened with version 2.1.3 ...

Hi, Ok, if it worked with 2.1.3 and with 2.1.5 not anymore, the source of evil should be the templates. Could you try the following? Open the integrator panel. Enter the following into the console: touch /tmp/provider_templates.xml Does the problem still appear? |

OK. The only drawback is that this won't survive a reboot. We are going to fix this with 2.1.6. |

Hi, you now have a GUI option to disable the templates.  Advanced -> Sip Provider - > 'Hide Provider Templates' You also see that on the screenshot below. Sebastian |
