It seems like once dhcp information are collected on boot, on expire of dhcp info, they don't get renewed until there is a new boot.
It might be my dhcp server, but i doubt it.... (dhcp is a standard..i guess...)
Maybe there is something that is not working on the dhcp client during use?

Best regards.

I don't exactly understand the problem. Huh
It is wanted that the IP address of the PBX doesn't change all the time. Otherwise it would be really difficult for the SIP phones to register. Actually, it is the best choice to give your PBX a static IP address.

Hi Sebastian,

You can set dynamic ip on the client...and set the server to give away always the same ip based on mac address.
This is how it's easier to do.
You can also set a time to live on the dhcp address....and at the end of this time...the client looks for updates on that ip. (for example you might have changed the dns.
The problem is that if you set askozia to use a dynamic ip,  at the end of the lease time, askozia does not even try to update the lease.

I know it's better to put a fixed ip, but sometimes it's not the best thing and i'm only reporting a problem that is happening on askozia.

Ciao

Yes, I can confirm that this problem exists. Roll Eyes
Unfortunately, it is not trivial to change this but we'll provide a solution in 2.2.

I wish you a merry Christmas too.  Smiley
