If the askozia computer is connected to the network...but there is not internet connection...askozia goes crazy...and you cannot disable accounts, you can't make phone calls through analog lines... (not sure how exactly you need to do to reproduce this...) anyway it get's stuck and stop working properly.

That seems to be a DNS problem. It works, but it seems to be very slow. We'll fix this with the next version.  Roll Eyes

I had similar problem, when my Internet connection went down, my internal phones lost connection to Askozia and the GUI was very slow or not reachable at all. Once Internet connection was up again this problem has been solved.

However the SIP Providers did not re-register and stayed offline even hours after internet connection was restored. Only reboot or manually disable and re-enable every single provider account brought them back.

Related to this problem, i have seen that if you disconnect the network cable, obviously askozia stop working in sip providers, but the analog phones start working again.

Ok,
i've been able to reproduce this:

If you disconnect the dsl or you make it unusable, sip phones will not be able to connect to askozia.
As long as all the providers stay in unreachable status, sip phones cannot connect and you cannot even make internal phone calls.
As per the analog lines, today when i reproduced the problem, analog lines were working, but a few days ago i was without internet connection and not even the analog lines worked.

Best regards.

Hi,

we were able to trace the problem down. It is caused by a bug in the DNS resolution of the network interface. We'll fix this in 2.1.5.

Thank you guys for reporting! Smiley
