/storage/usbdisk1/askoziapbx/var/log

ls -l /storage/usbdisk1/askoziapbx/var/
total 4

And on the other deciso 2.1.3 the usb disk are mounted ro instead of rw

/dev/sdc1 on /storage/usbdisk2 type vfat (rw,noatime,fmask=0022,dmask=0000,allow_utime=0022,codepage=cp437,iocharset=iso8859-1)
/

With this warning messages of course:
Sep  6 04:30:25 asterisk[1124]: WARNING[1149]: db.c:112 in dbinit: Unable to open Asterisk database '/storage/usbdisk1/askoziapbx/persistence/astdb': Read-only file system

Hi,

this message occurs if a USB storage wasn't mounted/unmounted properly. Please unmount your storage, restart your system and mount it again. The message should be gone then Smiley

One more thing: Please differentiate between warnings and errors. This is just a warning message. Nothing really bad happens here.   Grin

Tried to umonut/remount the usb storage , but every time the system reboot it will place it in RO mode .
/dev/sdb1 on /storage/usbdisk1 type vfat (ro,noatime,fmask=0022,dmask=0000,allow_utime=0022,codepage=cp437,iocharset=iso8859-1)
/dev/sdc1 on /storage/usbdisk2 type vfat (ro,noatime,fmask=0022,dmask=0000,allow_utime=0022,codepage=cp437,iocharset=iso8859-1)

dmesg shows
FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdb1)
invalid access to FAT (entry 0x101005d8)
FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdb1)
invalid access to FAT (entry 0x101005d8)
FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdc1)
    clusters badly computed (2020 != 2019)
File system has been set read-only

fsck.vfat does not exist , what can i do remotely to solve the problem ?

Sebastian,

Still need fsck.vfat for fixing the error .

I think there is something wrong with the external storage .
On three 2.1.3 system all have the same kind of error .
FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdb1)
    clusters badly computed (24655 != 24654)
File system has been set read-only
The file system on the storage at some point gets corrupted .
Wich is the maximum supported size for the external usb storage , 1gb , 2gb , 4gb , 8gb or ?

Hi Sebastian

Still having problem with usb storage on two systems with 2.1.5 on deciso .

FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdb1)   clusters badly computed (61599 != 61598)
/dev/sdb1 on /storage/usbdisk1 type vfat (ro,noatime,fmask=0022,dmask=0000,allow_utime=0022,codepage=cp437,iocharset=iso8859-1)

FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdb1)  fat_get_cluster: invalid cluster chain (i_pos 0)
FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdc1)   fat_get_cluster: invalid cluster chain (i_pos 0)
/dev/sdc1 on /storage/usbdisk2 type vfat (ro,noatime,fmask=0022,dmask=0000,allow_utime=0022,codepage=cp437,iocharset=iso8859-1)
/dev/sdb1 on /storage/usbdisk1 type vfat (ro,noatime,fmask=0022,dmask=0000,allow_utime=0022,codepage=cp437,iocharset=iso8859-1)

The file system on the storage at some point gets corrupted .

Some question again ...
- Wich is the maximum supported size for the external usb storage , 1gb , 2gb , 4gb , 8gb or ?
- can i use two usb storage at the same time ?
- need fsck.vfat for fixing the error ?
