hi,
i'm not sure if this is the right place to post a bug. If I am wrong please tell me

i installed the version 2.1.2.DIET. I am getting an fixed ip from our dhcp server 192.168.200.80. The network setting keeps showing 192.168.1.2 . Also when i try to save the page, it is trying to redirect to 192.168.1.2 ...

The settings get saved though, it is the redirect that fails

thanks,
Tom

I have a problem with a windows softphone and putted asterisk in debugging mode.
Somehow something in the log is also referring to 192.168.1.2 ..

Jul 31 15:34:20 asterisk[1443]: VERBOSE[1477]: chan_sip.c:3822 in sip_scheddestroy: Scheduling destruction of SIP dialog '4c7d83a6544e227d570cf63428b36325@192.168.1.2' in 32000 ms (Method: REGISTER)

is this somehow related to my previous issue ?

thanks,
tom

192.168.1.2 is the fall back IP address in case DHCP isn't available.
Did you choose "configure manually" and enter your fixed IP address in the text field of the network settings?

Hello,
i choosed configured by dhcp client. And the ip address is greyed out.
the value of ip address is 192.168.1.2
the value of gateway is 192.168.1.1
the value of dns servers is 192.168.1.1

the askoziapbx has ip address 192.168.200.80
i use this ip address or the dns name in the URL to access the pbx

when i try to save the network page .. it tries to redirect to 192.168.1.2
But the settings are saved!

In my opinion the network settings values that are greyed out should have the values that the pbx has at that moment

in my case
ip 192.168.200.80
gateway 192.168.200.1
dns 192.168.200.1

thanks, tom

Yes, it is doing that b/c you are using DHCP!
Choose -> "Settings" configured manually and enter your (fix) IP address, Gateway and DNS.

Hi sebastian, thanks for your reply

To make sure we talk about the same i explain again, ,i try to explain very simple example

in askozia we can choose dynamic or static ip.

if i choose static, probably all will work fine. but i don't want to do that because of some reasons.

just answer this
Why is askozia redirect to going to 192.168.1.2, even if my dynamic ip is 192.168.200.80 ?

thank you,

i think you guys always want the askoziapbx to have a manually entered fixed IP.
i want to use a fixed ip that comes from the dhcp server.

in my carreer all the devices, boxes , they return to the ip address it had

thanks again
tom

ps : respect for the project, will buy it anyway for support

Now I understand your problem, but what you are trying to do is not implemented. You either have to choose static or dynamic. What you are trying to do is kind of in between.  Smiley

i think you can simulate it like this.

set your askoziapbx in another subnet than your standard 192.168.1.1  like mine  192.168.200.2/255

let your ip address get assigned dynamicly.

go to the network page and save something, i'm pretty sure you will have a problem

 Wink

if not i owe you Smiley
