Hi,
I got the necessity to register 2 providers with the same outgoing patterns, although only separate lines will be able to access each of the 2  provider.

In both i wrote " X! " and in the logs i can see this:

Jul 27 17:08:45 asterisk[1490]: WARNING[2256]: pbx.c:7910 in add_pri_lockopt: Unable to register extension '_X!', priority 5 in 'ANALOG-PHONE-2577552514e067b2785870-outgoing', already in use

Could it be a bug?
Cheers

Hi,

unfortunately, you can't have two providers with the same outgoing patterns (even though they are associated with different phones).
Asterisk simply gets very confused. That's also what your log message says - it can't register the phone b/c the pattern is already in use.

is there some other way then where i can have multiple providers able to dial out only by dialing the number without any prefix, and choosing wich phone can use wich provider just by using the Block Providers option?

cheers.

Thanks...!
I think this could actually work. At least the error message is not appearing any more and everyone seems to be able to phone.  Tongue
