I installed Askozia on one of my ALIX2D machines and setup the PBX and used a valid lic key etc.

When I disconnected the internet connection from the switch just to use it as an internal system no calls would process and the GUI is very slow.

I could not even call voice mail.

It would take a very long time to connect to it via putty and login as a root user.

If your internet connection goes down this means woy will loose internal calls too.

This is a normal behavior of asterisk tring to register to an external provider the chan sip will hang the system , a very bad problem as i know until asterisk 1.6 , maybe resolved in 1.8 .

In Askozia 2.1.1 were already running asterisk 1.8.4 which is just behind the latest 1.8.5

Im sure there has goto be a way to fix this. Ill start working on it today.

Any progress on this topic, is the problem solved in asterisk 1.8 ?
