Hey guys....took a long time but it was not a very good testing....in the end i paid to do the testing.

So, you call from a internal phone another internal phone... (have not tried on external but i guess is the same.)
When the phone rings...from another phone in the same pickup group dial *8 and sip crashes.
You cannot connect softphones or sip phones to askozia until reboot.

on generic pc iso installed from scratch.

Attention though...that if you dial *8 + phone number it works.

to get the bug, you have to dial just *8 without a number.

I tried to reproduce your error by using three SIP phones and one ISDN line. It does not occur. Can you post some logs?

*8+extension always works when using different technologies. Details on that in the handbook on page 53.

Hi,

I am sorry but I can't find anything in your logs which shouldn't be there or is pointing to your Asterisk crash.  Huh

I tried to reproduce your problem again, using a fun collection of SNOM, Yealink, Cisco phones + a Blink softphone. Everything worked. What phones are you using?

a couple of softphones and 2 dahdi lines phone...on a openvox a400p.
I tried removing the dahdi phones from the pickup group but still happens.
Doubt it's only me.
if you want i can give you access to the askozia pc.

bye
Giulio

P.s.  I tried to check the logs live....from the asterisk console...and it seems that as soon as i pickup everything freezes. Also the dahdi lines are not giving any free line tones untile you reboot....

Does anybody else have this problem?

@Giulio: I'd leave this issue open for now b/c I really can't reproduce it. If somebody else also has that problem I'll gladly check on your Askozia. BUT please send me an e-mail with your login information then.  Wink

I'll try on a virtual machine in the meantime....and see if the problems is the same.
Can i install askozia on a virtual machine with the same key code or do i risk to lock my main one?

Best regards.

Guilio, please only use your activation key for one system. I'll try to reproduce your problem on a different platform later.

Hi Sebastian,

Did you manage to check the test on a different platform and confirm the bug?

Cheers.
