Hello everybody,

Askozia 2.1 is going to be released shortly and a couple of things are going to change with this release.

First of all, the feature set of this release is truly impressive. Some of the new features of Askozia 2.1 include:
Fax to E-Mail, individual voicemail greetings per phone, voicemail to e-mail and phone, pickup groups, call waiting, SNOM auto-provisioning, automatic Fax detection, Fax archiving on external storage, call detail records to PDF and a new web interface.

Secondly, the Askozia team has seen tremendous growth over the last two years and we now have three full time employees. For this reason, Askozia will no longer be free with the 2.1 release. The revenue generated from the image sales goes towards paying our employees.

The firmware images of the Askozia 2.1 series start at €49. Additionally, we will offer firmware images with highly specialized functionality, for example GSM support or IVR. Details on all features you find at http://www.askozia.com/feature-list/.

Updates in the 2.1 series (e.g. 2.1.1, 2.1.2, …) are free of charge. Once Askozia 2.2. is released, everybody using 2.1 will receive a discount for the new software version.

With 2.1, we will begin to provide "Diet Askozia". This version is free, has the full feature set but a maximum of two parallel calls. This version is targeted for home users and as a trail version. It can simply be updated to a full version.

All previous versions of Askozia will still be available for download.

Thank you for you support,
the Askozia Team

What is the pricing scheme?
49€ per pbx or just 49€ for all?

I am not sure if I understand your question. What do you mean by "all"?  Huh
One image including all the features listed is €49.

Good question , you have to pay for every pbx with the same version , for example two Deciso must pay two times or one time ?
And you have to pay twice if you use it on a Deciso and on a Generic pc or just one time ?

And what about the Gsm Support , its for every platform or only for PIKA Warp ?

The Warp is currently the only of our platforms supporting GSM.

The price is per image. If you are using two Decisos or one PC and one Deciso you need two images.

Great news! Cheesy Grin

Version 2.1 will work with Alix series 2 and openvox card A400M?
You can upgrade directly from version 2.04?

Thanks for the info

The only thing I can tell you about 2.2 at this point - there will be some time-controlled features  Cool

You do realize that by making us pay for the images (wich seems reasonable after so much work), people will be expecting much better official support on the forums.
To be honest that is lacking / non-existent these days, lots of posts/questions with no answers.
