Hi

We are using auerswald compact 3000 VOIP and we have a very strange problem. We have successfully registered SIP account (even IAX account), we have plugged 4 analog phones, make dial plans and groups. Everything is fine, outgoing and incoming calls are fine till the moment when Askozia start to make busy signal sound when we pick up the handset of one of the analog phones. Now there is no rule for this, sometimes it takes half an hour but sometimes it takes hours more to block.

Then we can't dial out we just get this busy sound signal or sometimes we don't hear anything when we pick up the handset. We have notice that this is not the case only with one askozia, the same problem we have on another askozia. In that moment the SIP is registered, we can log on to askozia, we can change settings and do whatever we want, but we can't diall out or even take incoming calls.

Is this a configuration problem maybe, we are using flash card to boot our configuration, we have try and change the flash cards but the same problem remains

Best regards
Igor

Hello Igor,

We have never had this problem, could you tell us exactly how to reproduce it?
But I can tell you already that it has nothing to do with your flash card.  Smiley

Did anybody else have this problem?

Hello Sebastian

Sorry for the delay answering you. As I said, the problems occur when we try to plug 4 analog phones.

Maybe there are some issues with auerswald compact 3000 VOIP and askozia. As you said there should be no problem with the flash card, but nevertheless we were using the same configuration on 2 auerswald compact 3000 VOIP and the problem was the same.

We had even problems with our sip registration, because on one SIP account we had 6 DID numbers, and we had problems with the DID numbers also. There were not reachable all the time.

I don't know can you play a little with auerswald compact 3000 VOIP and askozia?

Hello Igor,

I have set up a VoIP 3000 with four analog phones and a SIP provider this morning. Every now and then I make a test call but so far your problem hasn't occurred. I am going to let it sit like that for another day and wait.

Hello Sebastian

Try making concurrent calls, or if you can add DID number to the sip account that would be great.

When you pick up the handset of all 4 analog phones is it ok, does it occur the problem like I describe above?

Hello Igor,

I tried a few more things but your problem didn't appear on our system.
Askozia 2.0.4 is going to be released this month. Give that a try.
