Hi,

I updated my Askozia system to v2.0 yesterday. I selected then the polish language for one of my phones, and tried to reach a non existant park number. I got no response, and the PBX hangup immediately, logging that:

May 4 22:19:26 asterisk[1390]: WARNING[1733]: file.c:650 in ast_openstream_full: File pbx-invalidpark does not exist in any format

It seems that although it is possible to select "Polish" in the phone's languages, there is no media files for it...
I looked in the media configuration, and I saw that there are available sets of voice files only for English or French.

Have I missed something?

By the way, maybe it could be a good idea that it the PBX doesn't find a particular file, it fallbacks to english? This way, the user would at least not have the "immediate hangup" issue, and would know what's going on?

I just looked through all of the builds and see that the files are being included. What platform are you using? Did you already activate the "media storage" service before upgrading? If so, those files will not automatically be updated onto your external media.

Hi Michael,

I'm using the "generic" platform (on a dedicated PC).
You guessed right - I had installed the media storage service before (in rc1), so it explains things Smiley

I removd my media storage right now, and tried to format it, but now I get an error "Formatting failed! (returned 1)".

In logs, I see:
May 5 10:12:57 storage_format_disk(): fdisk returned 1
May 5 10:12:58 storage_format_disk(): mkdosfs returned 1

The message is not really helpfull, as it doesn't tell me what gone wrong this time Smiley Any idea?

Okay - fixed by rebooting the Askozia system Smiley

I guess that it was a bad idea to try to delete the storage, then recreate/reformat it. After a reboot, the storage got formated properly.

However, I still don't understand, why there is only english and french in the "Media" packages configuration? I assumed there should be also other language (spanish, italian, polish, german...), so everyone could install whatever additional packages would be needed?

Take a look at the code for that page. The options are already there but are commented out because I did not get a chance to test every single combination. They will be added as soon as time allows. Also, some of the servers behave differently and I cannot correctly determine the remote file size which makes a progress bar impossible when installing.
